Ryan was asked to work for someone who was sick and agreed to, forgetting that we had Bronco tickets today. Bummer. Well, bummer for him -- Trey actually benefitted and really enjoyed the game! It was Darold's birthday and he joined Dave, Drew & Trey for the game, which was the first for Drew & Trey and the first in at least 15 years for Dave & Darold. The Broncos played the Ravens winning 12-10... not a real pretty win, but it did put us up to something like 9 wins and 3 losses which is a mighty fine record.
Sean and I played with Robyn. We went bowling where my two game scores of 72 (is that an all-time worse ever record? think so!) and 130 were no match for Robyn's 150 and 155. Sean steadily improved with a 72, 83, 94 and 95... although he was bummed that in his last game he couldn't get a spare or strike in the final frames to break 100. Robyn played all four games with Sean and all three of us had a ball (hey, no pun intended!)
Robyn made a great birthday dinner for Darold after the game ~ we dined on roast, fresh mash potatoes, corn, pasta salad, and those awesome Hawaiin dinner rolls... mmmmmm. The 11th season of Survivor finale'd while we dined with Danni voting off Rafe and beating out Steph for the million bucks. We hadn't watched Survivor in a few years so seeing the finale was fun.
Another great weekend!
