Would you join us in praying for Aubrey?

Would you join us in praying for Aubrey?
.
She's my cousin Keri's daughter who is will be flying to Philadelphia to have
big-time back surgery Monday for rapidly progressing scoliosis.

We Love You Aubrey and Family!!

If you are wondering about scoliosis, here's a write-up from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons:

Everyone's spine has natural curves. These curves round our shoulders and make our lower back curve slightly inward. But some people have spines that also curve from side to side. Unlike poor posture, these curves can't be corrected simply by learning to stand up straight.

This condition of side-to-side spinal curves is called scoliosis. On an X-ray, the spine of an individual with scoliosis looks more like an "S" or a "C" than a straight line. Some of the bones in a scoliotic spine also may have rotated slightly, making the person's waist or shoulders appear uneven.

Hi Everyone~

Aubrey had surgery (five hours) on Monday and is now healing and recovering VERY well. In fact, she will probably be discharged from the hospital tonight (a day early!). I want to thank everyone for your love and prayers and support......I know that is part of the reason she has done so well. We will see you all soon! Yippie!

Love,
Keri
