The Life Cycle of a Raccoon
by Sean ~ grade 5
They are born with slits for eyes
Then they look up and see the sky
The newborn kits are very small
Soon they will grow to be very tall.
They are getting to be juvenile and not very rude
They are learning to catch their own food
Growing up they live with their mother
She teaches them to hunt like no other.
By one year of age they are almost grown
It's near the time they go on their own.
They become fully grown at age two
Ready for the world, how 'bout you?
Leaving their mother they throw great big fits
Now they go off and raise their own little kits.
