Dave took Trey & Sean up to Breckenridge to ski and board yesterday while I chased numbers at my desk. Sean took, and landed, the big dog jump in the terrain park before lunch. But unfortunately, the re-deaux after lunch was not so pretty ... he went up in the air and down on his head/shoulder. When I talked to him by phone from the med center his first words were, "Mom thanks for making me wear a helmet!" Always looking at the bright side. He's in great spirits and tough as nails - which is what officially makes him a Farrell :o)
Here's some photos from this morning before school. He has a full-arm immobilizer that he'll wear for 6-8 weeks and he's out for the season for snow sports. Ahhhh, until next year!
Oh, and more good news -- not only is his spinal cord fine and the bone will heal,
but it's his right arm which is perfect for this lefty!
