Another Great Day at the Skateparks!

We had another great day at the skateparks the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Ryan came to watch Trey & Sean; Jules, Brian & Jake were with us;
and we were also joined by Deb, her sons Coulton & Morgan, and friend Zach.
Here are some pictures of our fun day ...

Honey, We're Home!

Sean and I had a really fun and special trip to San Diego to visit Grandpa & Char ...
Aunt Cris & Uncle Charlie were there at the same time and graciously hosted us in the 2nd bedroom of their timeshare villa at the beautiful Lawrence Welk Resort.
It was so special staying with them and enjoying life!

Although we were only there from Wednesday to Saturday,
we managed to squeeze EVERYTHING in!

Here's the group ~
Cris, Grandpa, Char & Charlie in back
with Sean and I in front ...

We rented a convertible ...
And swam ...
Skateboarded ...
Rollerbladed ...
We went to Disneyland ...
And met Mickey ...
Found Jack Sparrow on Pirates of the Caribbean ...
Rode in the front row on Space Mountain (3 times!)
And visited the marina ~
this is the cruise ship that Grandpa and Char
used to take a couple of times a year up until about three years ago...
The Oosterdam of Holland America Line...

Whoosh!! Now that's a Goofball!!

It was a great great great trip!

But ...
I do find myself sad that my Grandpa is getting so old
and that my baby is getting so old, too.
I know that's life, but for some reason right now, that makes me sad!

Skatepark ~ Jake, Sean & Brian

Now that's what we call a great day!
It was our 2nd trip to an indoor skatepark with boys
(we were all sad that Trey wasn't with us this time).
.
The fearsome trio ...
It was AMAZING how much better the boys were this week than last!
Much less falling and lots and lots and lots of skill mastery!
.
Sean is absolutely INCREDIBLE on his rollarblades ... .
We had a absolute hoot of a time!
And we can't wait 'til next Saturday!!
