The things you find in a basement clean-up

WOW! ~ Dave cleaned out the storage closets in the basement to get out our Christmas decorations and just to clean out the storage areas. He worked his tail off all day and evening! Ryan worked and then went to Kelli's; Drew spent two hours building new shelving for the project and then dated with Lauren; and Trey & Sean played halo with Brian & Jake. I looked through memories and laughed and smiled and offered encouraging entertainment; Jules chatted with us; and Dave kept working. Amazing success by Dave in the organization category! And I found certificates, diplomas, neat old documents, Dave's 1984 love letters from Phoenix to me in Denver, and lots of photos ~ so fun!!

This first picture is of Dave on the top of Squaw Peak in Phoenix taken on his 26th birthday in 1984 when he used to run the mountain every other day for exercise ~ he was on the front page of the Scottsdale Progress. How cool is that?















The rest of the pictures show the cleaned and organized basement storage rooms after all his hard work today :~) Not so fun, but still very cool!
