Love Those Teens!

There’s cute … and then there’s incredibly cute (and handsome)!!

about what they'd like to see this coming year from our community ...

When they came back together to share, the teens had lots on their hearts!The teens expectations of the group and themselves included: to learn about God, to grow closer with Christ, to develop friendships, to grow together, to learn how better to talk to their non-Christian friends, and to be positive with lively energy.

Their practical ideas to meet those expectations and desires included to: be supportive of one another, breaking into small groups so they can get to know other people individually, personally stretch each week, pursue their relationships with God, have open hearts and minds to be accepting of each other, maturely discuss any issues of disagreement or hurt, and always remember that to make a friend you'll want to be a friend (love that golden rule!)

We had great encouragements from scripture ... 1 Samuel 23:16 - And Saul's son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God (as we are helping each other find strength in the Lord!) Psalm 133:1-3 - How good and pleasant it is when brothers & sisters live together in unity! ... For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

Hillary had a very special birthday!

Lots of parents came in for a piece of cake and visit with their teens and each other... We celebrated love, true love ~ with the joy that comes from the peace of our gracious Father!

The Fellowship of the Believers
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
