Happy New Year!

The last several weeks have been very, very, very busy & fun...

There are times when I'm not sure which way is UP,
Let alone have I been able to figure out how to move FORWARD!

Christmas was awesome with all the snow, our family knit together,
Christmas Eve services with Jules preached by Pastor Z,
So much playing in the 'hood, A Nativity Story, and the honey-baked ham.

We've babysat our favorite labradork, Jocko, and his chameleon cousin Clyde...

And we were blessed with surprise Avalanche Hockey tickets from Henry & Susan!
We hosted a very fun youth party this past Wednesday,
Barely threading the needle of the two blizzards,
And during our blizzards, we've had special guests and lots of fun.
We've been enjoying special times of connection with all these teens.

And there are sore shoulders and pecs from the never-ending shoveling,
and non-stop pick-up and hang-up after duties that come alongside.
Tonight was cafe, and we were on point for Soup Bar & Chili Dogs
Followed by a great New Year's Eve celebration at Deana & Jim's spread.

The laundry's done, the house is clean,
How to share the 3rd car and video hours have been settled,
My desk is cleared off, and school starts back this week.

And now it's today ... 2am on New Year's Day ~
Welcome to 2007!
So this last day of break, January 1st, will be for
Packing away Christmas and Packing up Backpacks.

And then, January 2nd, "THEY" are officially here...
~ January & February ~
Cold weather, short dark days, and busy season ~ grrrr.
