The things YOU decide you MUST do every day
WILL be the things that define your LIFE & who you ARE ...
Quiet time & bible study? Completing tasks, projects & to-do lists?
Sleep, nutrition, exercise, dental care?
Connecting with family? Reaching out to friends? Serving with love?

Self-Discipline & Self-Control
Proverbs 1:1-7 ~ The proverbs … for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young-let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance; for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 25:28 ~ Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.
Acts 24:25 ~ As Paul discoursed on righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, "That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you."
Galatians 5:22-23 ~ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
1 Timothy 3:2-3 ~ … above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
2 Timothy 1:7 ~ For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
2 Timothy 3:2-4 ~ People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.
1 Thessalonians 5:5-6 ~ You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled.
Titus 1:8 ~ Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
Titus 2:2-8 ~ Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.
